nichole has inspired me to start a really interesting craft project! im going to keep the details under wraps until i make sure it'll work, but all the influencial women in my life will be involved! stay tuned...

i was in a crafting slump, just making what i needed to to get by in swaps.
BUT.

tonite i worked on my BIG project for the 12 days of xmas swap! and i am baaaaaaaaack!
i wish i could show you pictures, but its top secret.

i really want to work on the zine too.

le sigh.

i did my first of many personal swaps with my new craftster separated-at-birth-sister, penelope porkchop!

she asked me for a stenciled shirt and when i learned she lives in alaska, i begged for polar bear smooches! she decided to make my cats a kitty pi. during crafting, we PMed a lot, i started my craft blog, shopped for local chocolate, and decided that bean would probably love the pi most of all as she was squeezing into boxes.

the photos and loot:
the red and purple kitty pi, TWO boxes of polar bear smooches, moose/mousse balls neopolitan malt balls, moose ball chocolate covered espresso beans, and yummy chummies gourmet cat treats with alaskan salmon! yums all around!

in the first picture, please notice eli's paws in the background stealing the bag of treats (click for a larger image)! priceless! this swap was amazing because i met an awesome friend, i got a gift that was well thought out and very well made (she's talented) AND the cats actually adore something that was made for them. bean was in it all last nite and i was a very happy kitty momma! thank you laura!!!

when you are mailing to your own state, packages get their quickly. =P

there is not much more satisfying than mailing out four swap packages in one day. unless it is getting packages in the mail when you get home!

i mailed out three packages for the OWS 14 (pictures as soon as they receive) and laura's personal swap package too (i could almost smell the chocolate through the envelope)!

then i came home to receive delicious lip glosses from psyche and a cute pin cushion and souveniers from homerof2! awesome!

im completely exhausted but im going to work on some more stencils tonite (the boyfriend finally decided what he wants) while watching (listening to?) television.

co-organizing the sweat shoppe swap is fun!

here are the shirts i painted for some friends of mine. i kept the stencils for once, just incase i want to do them again. and i think with the kitty one i will!


today has been productive so far. i cleaned the craft area and found my keys (yes, they've been lost for four days, so what?) and since then i've been craaaaafting...

i sealed up laura's package after adding a small surprise and allllll the chocolate! i'll be mailing to her tomorrow!

i decided to take a different route with the shirt i was painting for bobolink for the ows14. i hope it holds up and she likes it! eek! i'll be mailing to her tomorrow as well.

i still need to make a BUNCH of cards and finish another stencil. im think hummus for lunch. mmm.

columbus day is stupid. he made a mistake and ended up here. and for that i get no mail today? grrr.
